Fall Clothing Sale

• What: An opportunity for our neighbourhood to donate, swap, and purchase used clothing for a minimal cost.
• When: Saturday October 26, 9 am - 11 am
• Where: Our church! 209 Bearinger Road: Look for the Clothing Sale sign at the entrance of the parking lot

If you are able to bring your donations before the sale, please drop them off at the church on Thursday October 24, 7pm - 8pm or Friday October 25, 9:30am - 11:30am in exchange for a ticket. Donations are also welcome the morning of the swap. It is helpful, though not mandatory, if your items are pre-sorted and labelled with the general category (eg. teen, infant, men's large, etc.).

Don’t have anything? Come anyway, there's always lots! Fill a large bag for $3 or a small bag for $1.

Leftover items will be donated to other organizations within Waterloo region. All proceeds are donated to the Sunnydale Community Centre.

Church Picnic

Back by popular demand! Tasty food, classic indoor games, energetic outdoor fun and if we're lucky, even some face painting! Meet some of our new college and university students, sign up for a fall Bible study, find out where your friends have been all summer. Plan to stay after church on September 8th for a BBQ and fellowship.

Vacation Bible School registration is now open: July 8 to 12, 2019

Register here for our Vacation Bible School program this summer for kids born between 2008 through 2015, running from July 8 to July 12, 2019.

Join us each morning as we explore the power of God at "To Mars and Beyond". Through stories, crafts, games, science and music each day, we will imagine God's plan for our lives on earth and beyond. Parents, grandparents, younger siblings and caregivers are welcome to join us around 11:15 each morning for our closing exercises, and on Thursday, July 11, at 7:00 pm for our annual ice cream social and presentation, and again on Sunday, July 14 at 10:00 am where the children will participate in the service.

Cadets and GEMS programs for boys and girls

The Cadets boys program and GEMS girls program are now underway. New boys and girls are always welcome!

Cadets is a club for boys who are in Grades 2-8. The boys earn badges, do service projects, build crafts, study the Bible, and join in regional events with other clubs. Cadets meet on Wednesday evenings at the church from 7:00 to 8:30 starting in September and continuing through April. GEMS is a program for girls who are in Grades 2-8; the girls meet at the church on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 from September through April. GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. GEMS welcomes girls of all backgrounds into a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow as they discover who God created them to be. Mom-to-Mom

Are you a mom in need of encouragement? Do you enjoy sharing and socializing with other moms? Have you gained knowledge in motherhood that you would be willing to share? Consider joining us at Waterloo Christian Reformed Church for our Mom-to-Mom program.

Mom-to-Mom provides practical, godly advice that will help nurture your relationship with God, your spouse and your children. Together with other women, you will attend weekly sessions that uplift and encourage you as you experience the challenges and joys of motherhood. This is an opportunity for women of any age and childcare is provided for children 0-6 at no cost.
